EcoFunky! When I took this bag out for it public debut my friend Pam ooohed and ahhhed over it so much that I simply had to gave it to her. In return, she gave me two tupperware containers filled with her amazing potato salad and, most importantly, she let me keep the containers. Now I have to re-order the bag for myself. But who knows, I could make another great trade and turn even more people on to the TerraCycle Recycled Juice Bag. That's what eco-divas like me do in our spare time. (0:

I just got the Kool-Aid sport version of this bag and it is super cute. Forget picking up groceries in it, this bag is perfect for the beach, the park, the mall, strolling around in Union Square NYC -- you name it. Made from 100% recyclable materials, this bag has enormous positive karma. It's good for the environment AND TerraCycle pays kids / schools to gather up the recycled products used.

Where do you get the instruction to make these. I went to terracycle.org, but for some reason I can't see the pics for the instruction, just the product pic no instruction jm, marlarjudy@bellsouth.net

I got a juice pouch tote bag as a gift. I need to allow extra shopping time when I use it, because I get stopped by people asking about it. It's a fun bag, and it's incredibly sturdy, too. I use it for groceries, and it can hold a lot of items. (It's sturdy that it makes me wonder about all those other pouches that will in landfills for eons!)

You can collect juice pouches (and other items) for TerraCycle to use, and they'll give money to schools and other nonprofits. Check them out at terracycle.net for more info.

the first time i saw recycled juice bag totes i thought the idea was whack... just a little too far over the edge. Of course, at that point the ones I saw also had fur on them and were being sold as totes to middle aged women in middle america. Eeeek.

This, however, is a juice bag of a different breed - the shopper bag! A great way to reuse/recycle and have some fun at the same time.

These tote bags are wonderful - colorful and kitschy, plus eco-friendly. Carry one to the local market and think how many plastic baggies you'll save!
