I am a self-proclaimed shoe whore (running, dressy or fun shoes) but one of my running faves is Spira because they have tiny springs inside the soles that send energy normally lost into the pavement back up into your legs. Ingenious! (via Spira Footwear)

This brand is trying to break out of the ordinary running shoe and really provide comfort and protection while walking or running.
