A brilliant mix of horror, comedy, and great family drama, with two charismatic leads, a great soundtrack of classic rock and metal, a snazzy set of wheels, and an intriguing mytharc. Over the course of the season, I went from "enjoyably entertained" to "damn near obsessed" and have scarcely looked back. :)

It took a little while to get its legs but ultimately it is a great blend of drama, scary, and wit. The two brothers Sam and Dean run around taking down supernatural adversaries in an ever escalating war on evil. The writing on this show is actually still fantastic even after the writers strike, which is something that can't be said for all shows on TV at the moment. This is NOT a show for kids as there are some genuine scary parts, but for young adults and up it is a very intense ride.
