In true fashion, the most brillaint and interesting shows get cancelled way too soon. Thats what happened with Carnivale. A classic story, literally, between good and evii set against the backdrop of the Depression and a travelling circus troupe. Just when our hero and antihero (the Antichrist) are about to meet finally in the same town, the show gets cancelled. BAH!!!!! Anyway, the 2 seasons are REALLY worth watching. Check it out. A must-see, this HBO series only lasted two seasons, and was never given a proper ending. It deserved better.

Addictive show. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED to see it cancelled, and hope they have a feature film follow-up!
