rich and creamy from the buttermilk used make these clams unique. the recipe is over 100 years old and originated in the only state that should make them - Maine. first time i tried them i jumped up and down at how good they tasted. used as an appetizer for any meal, they will accentuate anything else you make so that they will won't want to stop at your five course meal.
