One of my favorite wedding shower gifts was from a friend who was also a Pampered Chef peddler. This pizza stone crisps a pizza crust to perfection and is also great for a variety of breads and pastries.

A great addition to the kitchen. Make pizzas, cookies, roasts, breads, you name it, and the more you use it, the better it develops a non-stick surface. If you buy one thing from the PC, make it a pizza stone.

Once you get one, you will want two of them. They are so great! A natural non stick surface. Great for cookies, frozen pizza, chicken nuggets, rediscover frozen french fries....they come out great on this. The stoneware round stone is also sold without the handles, but I do recommend you go ahead and buy with the handles. It is heavy and difficult to manage very well without them, although it can be done. The handle doubles as a sort of pedestal for the stone on the table.

This pizza stone is a must for anyone that loves to prepare their own pizza. Crusts come out wonderfully crisp and with time have a stone-oven flavour.

I got this as a wedding gift thinking I would never use it and really I use it all the time! It makes store bought and homemade pizza dough bake so nice and crisp, but soft - and never ever burns. I've started baking my cookies on it too and they also turn out wonderfully.
