When Iggy punches life into his strange muscle machine and comes up with legendary music like "China Girl", "Nightclubbing" and "Dum Dum Boys" It's rock and roll chewing gum. Yeah, sure you can get these songs on a hits collection, whatever...
This CD is the birth of goth rock! You would not think that Iggy (and David Bowie his collaborator on this CD) would be the godfather of goth, but IMO he is. This CD is so moody and just so amazing! It is a classic. On a sad trivia note, this is the album that was on the turntable when Ian Curtis (the singer for Joy Division) hung himself.
