While this is possibly the worst product image shot Amazon.com has, hear me out. The Protocol booklight is special. You know why? It's BENDY. LIke Gumby, or any one of those 25-cent stretchable wonders you got as a kid. Incased in the rubbery, soft touch exterior are memory metal sheets. This allows you to easily bend the light in whatever direction you need for optimum light distribution. It's smartly designed, with nice little touches. The middle of the light has a cut out piece that (wait for it) bends to anchor itself to your book. You can then leave the rest of the flat booklight inside your text as handy bookmark. The slim design makes it easy to travel with as well. It's only got 1 white LED, but it seems vastly superior to any of the 1 LED Mighty Brights and whatnot I've tried. The light spreads evenly and far across any standard size page, perhaps due to the reflectors built in to the lens. It comes in yellow, green, blue, and black. Highly recommend.

I am not a big book light user because I haven't found any that I was really comfortable using. This one sounds like it might change that. Nice find!

Thanks cogg! They are pretty good. Really slim, easy to use, doubles as a bookmark, etc. For some reason they're out of stock on Amazon right now but I expect they'll be back soon. Unless they were recalled for exploding fireball hazards or something.
