The cutest way to learn infant and child CPR, CPR Teddy has a bow tie that glows green if you're doing compressions properly, red if you're doing them wrong. Squeeze his paw adn a voice tells you how to perform a technique correctly.

So many of my friends with small children fail to recognize the importance of knowing what to do if their child is choking or stops breathing. They seem to think that in an emergency they can just dial 911 and the paramedics will immediately appear on their doorstep to save the day. Unfortunately, that just isn't reality. The American Academy of Pediatrics has said that when the brain goes without oxygen for more than 4 minutes, brain damage or even death may occur, and yet the American Heart Association has said that ambulance response times in the U.S. can range from 8-10 minutes. The response time can be much longer for rural communities or those with volunteer rescue squads. Family members who know CPR can make a difference! I can't think of a better gift for new parents or grandparents than CPR Teddy.
