PacSci Potato Clock

The strangest, or should I say, most commonplace things can be used as a power source. In this case, a produce or sugar-powered clock. You can use two potatoes, grapefruits, oranges or cans of pop (soda). I suppose it's more of an experiment in how an electrochemical power cell works. So, it would be a perfect gift for any kid over the age of five. Or any adult that likes unusual gifts, or that is interested in alternative or green energy. (via target.com)
