I owned a 1GB Cruzer Titanium USB drive several years ago, and I loved it. There's no plastic cap to keep track of or lose -- the USB can be easily extended or retracted by moving the plastic nub in the middle of the stick. Plus, the thing is damn near indestructible -- I must have dropped my Cruzer Titanium a half-dozen times, and I never had a problem retrieving my data. Simple, reliable, compact and affordable technology is a wonderful thing.

The 4GB model's MSRP is $100, but as of April 2007 it can be found for ~$65 at Amazon.com ( http://tinyurl.com/yvplp5 ). I'll probably be buying one to replace my old 512 MB thumb-drive at some point in the near future. I archive my financial records, wedding photos and other valuable documents on them, and safeguarding those records on a such sturdy, compact drive is well worth the price.
