Although this piece function in many, many rooms; I like the idea of using this next to a large bed. Change up your ideas about bedside furniture. The large table top area allows room for a lamp, phone, books, glasses, etc. The drawers add interest, but also can be used for storage. Love the black finish. Also great piece in an entry way.
