I think that the vibe that the As Tall As Lions self titled album had put out into the industry is kind of incomparable. Having taken the time to really listen to what this Long Island band is about, I can tell you they're here to stay. Ghosts Of York, the best track, in my opinion, from this album, showcases the lead singers ever-climbing, almost soprano vocals, wrapped up in lyrics that come from a first hand point of view. The drummer is dead on and took the song, and album, to different places, with an instrumental section that rests lightly in between. Very French Rock and very different.
