Sometimes we purchase things for charity out of the goodness of heart. Sometimes we are so lucky to receive a beautiful gift in exchange for our donation that will remind us of the people we helped each time we wear it. Such is the case for this long beaded necklace from Project Have Hope.
This jewelry is handmade from recycled paper by women in the Acholi Quarter in Uganda. This is a war-torn land and the community is struggling to get by. Every purchase makes a difference, so stock up on these jewels for your spring and summer wardrobe - they also make great gifts!
