I don't love this record nearly as much as "Fever to Tell" or the first Yeah Yeah Yeahs EP, but "Gold Lion" is phenomenal. (via Culture Bully)

This, the second studio album from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, is without a doubt, their best. So, if you can get into some art punk or garage rock, I think you'll enjoy this 2006 release.

my alltime favorite lyric is "baby,my snake is a shark tonight" from kiss kiss. i don't exactly know why but its ahmazingg

There's a bit more production on the YYYs second album, and while I wouldn't call it sophomore slump, there is a slight lack of the same rawness that made the debut so good. There's a turn towards a more commercial sound, especially on "Gold Lion", but it's still a solid album, and fans shouldn't be disappointed.
