Got this from my parents last week and it's amazing. I've already seen the whole show so far, but the subtleties and great acting and costumes and tone will make me go back for more.

I just recently finished Mad Men season one. I can unequivocally say, the critics (and everybody else) is right. This is one of the the better shows I've ever seen.

Now, I just need to get going on season 2. Wish me luck.

This is possibly one of the greatest, smartest, most meticulously designed, written, fantastic shows on television. It's amazing.

This is one heck of a show. The story lines, the fashion, the fact that I am still in my pajamas right now glued to couch watching. It's all good.

Mad Men is a gripping drama, but it is without a doubt the best-looking show of the last decade. From the title sequence to the perfect period wardrobes and office furniture, this show is sharp. Of course, I think it is a stroke of brilliance to release the DVD set in an oversize zippo lighter package, referencing the way that everyone smokes constantly during the show. Maybe season 2 will be packaged in one of those conical bras?

This is the best drama currently on television.
Brilliantly written, excellently case, and laboriously costumed, this period piece whisks us back to Madison Avenue in 1959, dropping us right into the middle of the suddenly-booming advertising business.

Though occasionally slow-paced, every episode is a treat.
