Small compact and durable and it fits perfectly in your backpack when you're in the lake district up a mountain. I was also seen using mine at Glastonbury it actually survived the Mud, I very nearly didn't. It charged my phone and camera- its a great bit of kit. (via New consumer magazine online)

It's got an ickle green light on the solar panel that lights up when you're getting maximum solar power.

You can plug the solar panel directly into things to charge them directly from the sun.

It works like a treat with my Sony PSP, and gives it 2/3rds of a charge very quickly. It's a bit of a pain with the N95 (pictured) but I think that it's because the N95 is a bit of a pain generally.

It's going to be sweet for charging my iPod when I go on holiday next week. Woo! (via EthicalSuperstore)
