These bags are a godsend for anyone who's ever had to throw away produce that's past its prime. They're green bags that naturally absorb ethylene, gases emitted by ripening produce that cause fruits & vegetables to deteriorate. By using these bags, the life of your produce can be extended for weeks, meaning you can shop less often, save money, and waste less food. The bags are reusable, too, and they help you reduce your carbon footprint by reducing food waste. I tried these for the first time with a bunch of parsley, and it stayed fresh and green for weeks! Truly amazing.

I use the Evert-fresh green bags for my vegetables & fruit. My lettuce stays fresh longer, bananas don't turn black over-night. The bags give us time to eat the produce that we're buying and wasting less. I recommend them to everyone I know.
