Imported from County Donegal in Ireland, this gentlemen's cardigan is knitted with yarn that comes from one of the most prized breeds of sheep in the world, the Blueface Leicester. Found only in areas of northern England, Scotland, and Wales, its wool is often likened to cashmere, growing very densely to ward off the chill of its native climate. The Blueface yields longer stapled wool than other breeds, resulting in yarns fine enough for a hand soft enough for next-to-skin wear. Made with a buttoned front and two front pockets, it is hand-finished with a handsome cable pattern--a style treasured by locals for centuries--along its front, back, and sleeves. With a relaxed fit and crew neck. Gray with black highlights. Sizes M, L, XL, and XXL. (2 1/2 lbs.)
