Go totally old school with a nixie watch. Nixie tubes are neon display tubes once used in calculators back in the day (1969). Just flick your wrist, the nixie tube lights up and you get to see what time it is. (via SCI-FI Tech)

Nixie Tube display... twist your wrist and the two-digit display will flash off the hour, then the minutes, and then will begin to count off seconds.
