Musically and lyrically much stronger than the debut and follow-up EP, Shotter's Nation sees Pete Doherty really returning to the level of music-writing that he was known for in the Libertines. I still don't think either party will be quite complete without the other, but it's going to be tough for Carl Barat's band, Dirty Pretty Things, to match this sophomore release.

this record is great, both sonically and lirically. It is honest and most importantly, Pete allows himself to be vunerable. The songs are most definetly beautiful, just plain amazing

Released in 2007, this is the Babyshambles' most recent release. Listened to this CD all winter. If you were a fan of the Libertines, Pete Doherty is back again with the Babyshambles. The songs are lyrically beautiful, and extremely easy to listen to. Think the Kinks meets Pavement and the Clash.
