Sure you can pull out the box of table salt and pour it into a bowl and line the rim of your margarita-- but really... save that for when people are on their third and don't care so much anymore. If you want that great flaky, crunchy experience you need to go for a specialty product. This salt has a smoky flavor to compliment the tequila and just a hint of fire from ground chipotles.

This salt is awesome. Great pale apricot color, delicate pyramid shaped flake. Perfect for so many cocktails --- but the heat of the chile pepper is a great mix with tequila. Not too hot --- just a nice undertone of spicy! You should definitely try this.
