Heroes' Greg Grunberg created a cocktail called The Eclipse, which contains Cointreau (among other things) for a casual hosewarming party.

For an outdoor pool party, entertaining expert Peter Tutera recommends orange flavored cocktails, for which you'll definitely need Cointreau.
