Remember the Alien movies? And those nasty eggs? This is like that only nice and with a better sense of fashion. From the image I have to assume this the trilogy of Oggs - three color morphing eggs that sit on your desktop and color morph. I guess they color morph slowly. So you have to watch carefully or you might miss it. Did that last statement make sense? There's some german goth band playing in my ear that is scrambling my thoughts. Ah, that's better. I grabbed some advertising spiel from another website because it is better than the advertising spiel from Edmund Scientifics. Here it is:

Each version includes a custom plug-less charging base station similar to some cell phone chargers - simply sit the OGGZ on their base with no plugs to plug in to the portable Oggz. They can also be left powered on in the charger which also functions as a display stand or you can turn each Oggz on or off by the built in switch in each one and take them with you anywhere. Single Oggz are a lot of fun but in groups of two or more the colors contrast and change at different speeds. Oggz are tactile and Squeezably Soft. That sounds funny, but most people get the impression they're hard, fragile or brittle. They're firm enough to keep their shape, and they flex gently if squeezed and they fit in a pocket easily.

I’m sick of looking at the same stoic and lame lamp everyday in my room. If you’re just same as me in this thought, we both need the Morphing Egg which can change color every 15 seconds. It’s time for me redesigning my little hompy and making it lively. Also, you can bring it outside in camp fire or a slumber party, use it as beautiful fireflies to jazz up the wild night.

Morphing eggs. A bit cool, and a bit silly. They change color. That's about it. I suppose a bunch of them in a bowl would be really fun at night... Original recommender compared these to Alien eggs (the movie). Hmmm, I don't think I would have been as nervous watching that movie if the eggs were blue, pink and green.
