Yes, that's right a Webcam that records in 3D. Minoru actually has two cameras, spaced about this distance of eyes. It records/captures out of each camera (I'm assuming in specific colors). The playback for the person watching you is then in 3D if they're wearing the glasses that come with the cam.
It's a long way from being all that practical. However, it's still completely awesome.

Unlike boring, traditional 2D webcams, the Minoru is the worlds first 3D webcam that uses stereoscopic anaglyphic processing to automatically capture 3D video and images! (via Michael Kiely)

Years ago we had a 3D photographic camera. No special glasses were needed to view the photos in 3D and created the photos similar to the webcam that you are recommending.
The only problem was that the photos could only be developed by one lab and when they went out of business we couldn't use the camera anymore.
We do however, have some great Hawaii photos taken with the camera & love them.
