Yet another piece of equipment for working your abdominals. There 3 models. Two for health clubs, and one for home exercisers. The home version is less expensive, but the basic design is the same.
We don't have one in my club yet, so I haven't had the opportunity to test it out. I have watched the video on the website with the sound off, so I wasn't tempted to get caught up in the hype.
The motion looks biomechanically correct & safe, and also appears to be smooth.
The two big selling points appear to be (1) that is easy to use, even for beginning exercisers and (2) you are really able to feel it working in the lower portion of the abdominals.
I can't wait to try this out!

The 'AbCoaster' is by far the best tummy flattner on the market. I use it for 10 minutes once or twicea day, and my stomach really does look like a washboard. I am a 41 year old women with 3 kids, and I can fit into a size 26 waist! I absolutly love this product. I use it watching tv. It is small enough so I can just leave it out but folds up nicely if I want to put it away, (which has not happened yet)! My friends even get on it when they come over. Two of them have purchased their own. If you want a tight, flat stomach, do not wait! Get the AbCoaster today! (via Jenny Miksch)

I received my Ab Coaster yesterday it is very easy to put together and I love this machine. I am 54 years old female with a lower back problem and I injured my back again about 6 months ago exercising do abs using the large exercising ball. When I saw the kneeing position needed to preform this exercise I felt that the possible was great that that using the Ab Coaster is just what I needed. Among other issures that I had with my back degenative disc and buldging disc @ the L4 & the L5 was my tail bone for the last 6 months I have been in a lot of disconfort and my job requires me to sit all day and today I am pain free from my lower back and tail bone. I can't wait to get back on it because of the fast results thus far. You are going to love it too.

I JUST RECEIVED MY AB COASTER TODAY, AND I WAS EXCITED TO RECEIVE IT. I ORDERED THE PRO MODEL BECAUSE I AM BIGGER THAN NORMAL WEIGHING IN AT 290 WITHGOOD MUSCLE TONE. I WAS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO WORK THE ABS. IT WAS KIND OF UNCONFORTABLE WITH THE ASSEMBLY, BUT AFTER I GOT IT TOGETHER. AFTER ONE DAY, IF YOU DO THE EXCECISE CORRECTLY, I FEEL THE BURN, FROM JUST BELOW MY LATS. ALL THE WAY DOWN TO MY PELVIS, TO INCLUDE MY BUTTOCKS, OBLIQUES ETC.. SO FAR SO GOOD, AND I AM 46 YEARS OLD
