We just purchased all new vinyl windows for our home. We chose Milgard because they are the best made, most aesthetically pleasing and have a full lifetime warranty on parts and labor. We searched for several months looking for just the right windows, with the right price and with the right warranty. TheWindow Store is overpriced - I checked them out and they were 25% higher than the TWO estimates I got from my local dealer. Its pretty obvious the two people "recommending" them are actualy just Window Store employees. I'm not trying to sell anyone anything here. Just do your own comparison shopping !!

First of all, I can't believe how much new windows cost! We could have bought a new car for how much we spent! We bought our them from The Window Store too (www.thewindowstore.com) after getting a quote from a local dealer that was roughly 25% higher for the exact same Milgard Tuscany windows!

I decided to do some research online after I nearly had a heart attack from seeing the first estimate and low and behold... drum roll... They're cheaper online! I guess it's not really any big surprise since most everything is cheaper online these days.

Probably the best part about buying through these guys is that you can configure and play around with your estimate on your own without having to deal with some pushy sales guy - and believe me the local dude was throwing everything he had at us.

Since this was the biggest purchase we've ever made over the internet (nearly 10k) we called first to make sure there was someone actually there to talk to - thanks to Sandy for all of your help - and they were very helpful in answering my questions and didn't try and get me to place my order before some imaginary sale ended.

Anyhow, I would definitely recommend using these guys to save some money. Given the state of my 401k we need to save every penny we can!

We received a quote from Home Depot for new vinyl Milgard windows, and were shocked by the cost. Decided to do some online price comparison, and came across this amazing website. TheWindowStore.com's window price was over 30% lower than Home Depot's! And we saved even more by having a friend help install the windows (easy retro-install over existing aluminum).
