I'm all for introducing books and reading accessories to kids at as early an age as possible -- even if it means playing rather then reading -- as a means of getting kids used to the idea of having fun with reading. This Bonsai Book Caddy is small, fun, and manageable for a small child, and it's made with EcoTots features that any parent can appreciate: non-toxic, sustainable materials and a conveniently tool-less assembly.

It's made from sustainable wood. And it's accessible from both sides, so it's easier for tiny hands to grab the books. Which should help encourage them not to store their books on the floor. And while it's not already assembled, there's only 4 pieces and you don't need tools to put it together.
