The base of this fragrance is Amour, which was a big hit with me last year. This version has been modified. In this version there is less vanilla and more notes of peony, rose, frangipani, thanaka wood, and incense. It’s a completely different take on the fragrance, and but I was still just as happy with this version.

This limited-edition fragrance called was inspired by the Indian festival of colors, called Spring's Holi. I love the Indian reference, as this really encompasses a beautiful aspect of the Indian culture which has never been tapped by a major fragrance house.

As with the original Amour, I loved the bottle, which in this case is just as striking in shape, with the added dimension of the beautiful blend of fuchsia, red, and orange bottle with gold Indian lettering. Yes, this definitely was an intrigued blend that really captured my attention because at times it read more flowery and others the incense was prominent.

It’s still an easy to wear fragrance that’s appropriate for day or night, and will really make you stand out at the same time. (via Palacinka)
