The World's Fastest Indian (2005)
If you are an Anthony Hopkins fan like I am, this is a great movie. Anthony Hopkins portrays New Zealander Burt Munro, who spent years building a 1920 Indian motorcycle -- a bike which helped him set the land-speed world record at Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats in 1967.
At this point, you already know that you have to watch anything that Anthony Hopkins is in. I don't know how he can play so many different characters in so many different movies so well while not really changing the character from movie to movie, but it works for me. This movie is a meandering, mostly heartwarming tale based on the real-life adventures of a New Zealand tinkerer. I hadn't read any of the history behind the story so it was fairly suspenseful.
