Description

by the time i can afford a digicam, it's probably have to be newer than the d200. so, d300 i guess for now is my guess of what it will be.

This camera features the following:12+ megapixels, excellent high-ISO noise reduction, great ergonomics, color saturation that surpasses that of previous model (D200), mirror lock-up, ability to use older Nikon mount lenses as well as latest lenses, correction of some lens weaknesses, a large and detailed LCD monitor, multi-exposure capabillity, and built-in flash.

I like - and want this. Nikon cameras boast intuitive controls and a wide array of lenses. The d300 adds a dust reduction system (a pain with any dSLR) , and a large, 3 inch tempered glass LCD. For professionals or those serious about playing around, you have easy access to the ISO, Aperture and Shutter speed settings on the top left. A separate LCD readout on the top shows you current settings, something other camera models lack. Fast burst mode and solid Nikon frame.

I would love to get one of these :) would make a great gift for the aspiring photographer.
