If I was gutsy enough to ride a skateboard again... (I havent since my friend and I thought it would be a good idea to tie one end of a rope to a mini-bike, and the other end to my waist while standing on a skateboard....hilarity ensued - just happy it was a dirt road and he rode into a pond to break his momentum)... anyway, memories aside...

This is the safe, easy alternative to riding a traditional skateboard. Though it seems to take some of the rigor out of the activity, it's fairly cool nonetheless. It's motor can deliver speeds up to 19 mph with a range of 8-12 miles on a single battery charge. It's controlled via a wireless remote control.

I'm thinking about learning how to skateboard. This could be a safer, easier alternative to a regular skateboard. Or I could break my head. It does look fun though!

Hey - if dad is up for it, give him e a wireless skateboard. He doesn't have to do any strenuous work except for staying on it.
