Oh Abbie Hoffman, radical 60's dissident. D'Onofrio (Law & Order: Criminal Intent) does an outstanding job in the lead role of this film. Although one may be sympatheitc to Hoffman's cause you can't help but cringe at how his personnal struggles (including drug addiction) at times overshadowed and diminished his activism. But hey, nobodys perfect.
Abbie Hoffamn is definately a figure in American history people should know about.
