This is similar to my stovetop model, a Stella that I have not been able to find in the US. I prefer the stainless steel models, and I like that this has an insulated handle. (via jamesfreeman)

Moka pot coffee can be a bit harsh and needs really hot water. The important thing is a slow brew cycle with low low heat.
