My husband and I bought the IKEA Expedit bookshelf and Expedit desk combo recently and we could not be more happy with it! It's pretty easy to assemble and there are numerous ways to set up all your knick knacks, books computer equipment etc.

You can also buy the paper storage boxes (Kasset series), plastic inserts (Lekman series) as well as the inserts w/ a door or the inserts w/ 2 drawers (both from the Expedit series). The possibilities are endless!

It's such a smart way to get yourself organized and the simple style goes with anything!

This item comes in white (show), black/brown and oak laminate. It's also super easy to clean; all you need is a damp cloth. (via IKEA)
