It's hard to describe to someone the invigorating properties of caffeinated soap. I really despise getting out of bed in the morning, and the only things that motivate me are the prospects of a nice shower and my first cup of coffee. Save a shower-mounted coffee maker, this soap is the best way to get your jolt while lathering up. The peppermint scent is eye-opening, but the fact that you actually absorb caffeine through the skin should really wake you up.

The Shower Shock Caffeinated Soap will give you a fix without waiting to make coffee or running out to the corner coffee shop. (via Shower Shock Caffeinated Soap)

Each bar contains 12 servings of caffeine for your shower. Yes, caffeine can be absorbed through your skin. This is taking capitalist caffeine-addicted Americans to an entirely new level. Don't you get it? If you can't wake up, it's because you're not supposed to be up yet! Ah, but we must all go to work for the man. This is an easy way to get your morning hit of caffeine, if you must.

Soap that helps wake you up! Approximately 200mg of caffeine per serving, 12 servings per bar.
A 7oz cup of brewed coffee contains on average between 80-135mg, 7oz of drip coffee contains between 115-175mg, an 8.2oz can of Redbull contains 80mg, and a 12oz bottle of Mountain Dew contains only 55mg.
So one "use" of this bar has far more caffeine, and is absorbed through the skin.
Only downside is that its not exactly cheap as far as soap goes.
"Shower Shock is an all vegetable based glycerine soap which does *not* contain any harsh ingredients like ethanol, diethanolamine, polyethylene glycol or cocyl isethionate. So it's a gently invigorating soap ;) Scented with peppermint oil and infused with caffeine anhydrous, each bar of Shower shock contains approximately 12 servings/showers per 4 ounce bar with 200 milligrams of caffeine per serving. No, we're not kidding and no you don't eat it. Caffeine can be absorbed through the skin." (via Thinkgeek.com)

If you are not a morning person, and you can't get your morning started without that initial jolt of caffeine, then this soap is for you.

Can't get your caffeine fix with a single cup of coffee? Caffeinated soap could give a little extra jolt to your system while you later up in the shower. As one who is occasionally sleep-deprived myself, I can't help but think that it couldn't hurt to keep a bar on hand.
