One of my favorite no nonsense facial moisturizers in a teeny .5 oz size. PERFECT for stocking stuffers..

Very nearly my entire skin care routine consists of Philosophy products. I just ran out of my Clinique moisturizer (super defense) which was pretty good, but since I had some store credit at Sephora I thought I'd try Philosophy's version.

Philosophy Hope in a Jar Therapeutic Moisturizer for Dry Sensitive Skin is a high performance moisturizer with antioxidants to help reduce environmental damage. It contains rice bran oil, an excellent source of vitamin E, as well as vitamin A for softening skin, increasing elasticity and preventing thickening of skin.

Not gonna lie, I was a little hesitant of this product due to the price. But I received a Sephora gift certificate for my birthday and went with the hope in a jar / eyehope duo and will be forever glad that I did because I am officially sold.

At first usage I felt that the product was a tad bit both heavy and greasy and there was a slight odor but after using it for a couple of weeks I noticed radical changes to my super dry skin, most of my rough patches were gone and my face was smooth for practically the first time ever, and I no longer even notice any odor.

I'm going to stop borrowing my roommate's and go get some of this. And by that I mean like 15 jars because I would flat out cry if they discontinued this stuff. It's amazing. I have used tons of skincare products and this one makes your skin feel hydrated and not greasy at all, plus it's got lots of great ingredients.

This may be good for some to use everyday. Me, not so much. This is a bit too heavy for me. I use this early mornings on days I go make-up free. LOVE this stuff!

Ahhh! If you haven't already, go buy this. Really. Just go. I'm giving you permission to even wear SWEATS (and that's huge for me, just make them Juicy, k? Or from the ol' college days but NOT TOO saggy/baggy) in PUBLIC! Drop everything. Your face is worth it. Now, scoot!
