Yamaha Pacifica Guitar

I've owned this guitar for many years and it's never let me down. Out of the box it returns a fairly decent sound, but given it's low purchase price it's worth spending the extra that you'd have paid on another guitar to get this one sounding supreme. My recommendations would be to take out the bridge pickup and put something a bit more meaty in there (I went with Humbuckers) and lose the Trem-arm, adding extra springs to the bridge in order to lock in Tuning. Fit this guitar out with a heavy gauge set of strings and you'll be amazed at the sound you can get from a supposedly "budget" instrument!
