So I'm a big nerd. I've always loved Martha (secretly), but her previous magazines don't really apply to me. I mean, I'm years away from being a soccer mom, don't have a large kitchen, and only dream of vague organization. I do, however, love making my own clothes (to some extent), starting projects, and painting random things. Stylishly, of course.
Its first two issues hit the nail on the head, so to speak. Its Martha's cool creativeness, but it doesn't make me feel, well, inadequate. Now I just need to get around to subscribing to it!

I've been buying single issues since the magazine released, and I'm at the point where I think a full-blown subscription is in order. I LOVE the way the magazine is designed and the information very useful and relavant to my lifestyle and tastes.

From the people at Martha Stewart - this mag is written for women who are not Nantucket soccer moms. It stimulates the crafty side but without rubber stamps and stenciled floral prints. There are lots of interesting, dare I say creative, ideas worth clipping and filing away under "that would be cool to do one day".

I love Martha. This is the "Martha for Martha's Daughter's Generation". What's not to love. Super easy (read: inexpensive) design ideas that are so simple and very inspiring. I'm not even a design nerd. Just an artist with no decorating ability. How sad is that? (via but-i-like-it)

I'm definitely with you on this one. BluePrint and Everyday with Rachel Ray are my new guilty pleasures :)
