  If there is some possible way that you made it through 2008 without seeing this movie, A.) shame on you. B.) you've really missed out. Milk is a truly touching storing, made with stunning direction and captivating actors. Easily, one of the best movies in years.

  Gawd, I LOVE this movie! I had no idea who Harvey Milk was before I saw this and now I just have the utmost respect for what he accomplished. Sean Penn does an excellent portrayal, rightly deserved that Oscar. What's fascinating is seeing how Castro Street began and San Francisco at this particular moment of time.

    Love the movie, I agree. Completely awesome. Mickey Rourke should have won the Oscar though! -- even though MILK was my fav, movie of the year.
