Google Notebook is a tool you can download from the internet to your computer. When you're on the internet, its icon sits at the bottom of your browser and you can open it up and use it whenver you want.

It's a way to store information, either from websites or just notes to yourself, when you're online. A way to keep track of things: images, ideas, quotes. . . you can make a note about whatever you want.

You can have numerous notebooks; for example, I use one for a to-do list, one to keep track of ideas for my blog, one for my geneology research, and so on. I use it every time I'm on the internet, and I don't know how I ever functioned without it.

I'm a huge Gmail and Google Calendar User. I can't believe I did not discover this little underrated Google gem sooner. A great way to keep random notes to yourself (goodbye sticky notes all over my desk), etc. I'm sure the more and more I use this I will discover new uses for this great tool. (via ExLibris)

The real beauty of Google Notebook is that you can share a notebook with friends and collaborate on projects together, sharing sources and lists, and passing notes to each other. Less confusion, fewer meetings to make happen and attend. How cool. It's not a download, either. All the storage is with Google. And it's free, free, free. (via Kristine)

This new Google tool is unbelievable. It's a marriage of Notes/Lists, Bookmarking, and Blog. You can create multiple 'notebooks' and assign as private, shared or public. The public ones are basically blogs. It is VERY handy. I've been going crazy with my massive list of bookmarks on my screen. This is a great way to tuck away the not-so-important ones. A simple right lick of your mouse will post a link to your notebook page, with or without an image.

Want to hear the jaw dropping factoid? I think it may be the first Google product to use drag and drop. Yes, I swear to you it's true. (via Lisajay)
