I love sockeye salmon: deep rich red color, bold, complex taste but not too fishy. Awesome when sushi-grade, especially sockeye belly (ie sockeye toro)

Loaded w/omega 3 fatty acids which help w/cognitive functions, good skin, eye health, and general anti-aging properties. I eat salmon at least 3x/week and always have sockeye if it is available.

Also, for the more adventurous, going sockeye fishing in Canada and Alaska is a blast
