These bags are fantastic! I take them to our local organic food store and use them for all my food items, flour, nuts seeds, fruit & veg. And then I pile all the bags into a mesh string shopping bag - it's amazing how much these string bags will stretch and hold. The produce bags then go straight into the fridge and the fruit and veg stays fresh. There really is no need to use plastic with great products like these on the market!

I loathe plastic produce bags and I feel they defeat the purpose of reusable grocery bags, yet I don't want my peaches rolling around in my grocery cart. This is a great idea and this site sells them cheaper than delight.com. (via Reusablebags.com)

I love these bags! Not only are you not using plastic produce bags which add to waste and pollution, but you are also preserving the freshness of your produce. You can actually dampen these bags and then place them back into your fridge cooler. They help your produce stay fresher longer. I have about a dozen of each size, and I keep them in the car with my reusable grocery bags. A definite must-have for all greenies!
