About two weeks ago, while randomly pondering the viability of the “aesthetic elite” and their effect on the trends the rest of us aspire to (disclaimer: I was on the train on my way to work, so I guess my brain was doing some counterbalancing as I believe that I was heading to an entire day of meetings in a windowless, airless room…normally I’d probably be thinking about my shoes, or some random person’s bad panty line, all the while laughing snarkily in my head, but whatever)…so I saw this guy and he was wearing a really cool pair of Prada Sport shoes (but I already have them, so no big whoop there) a killer Neil Bartlett coat (new obsession, must acquire one for the hubby), a cool pair of Ray-Ban reading glasses, and best of all a pair of Bang & Olufsen Form 2 headphones...now one of my newest obsessions. They’re haute, I mean – I’m sure they sound really good, but they’re sooooo stylish. All I saw was the style and the brand name, so it took another week for me to find out which ones they were and at $100, they’re my newest have-to-have.
