Jed Crystal of Hepper has done exactly what I have hoped someone would do with pet products…he has created pieces that are aesthetically pleasing (especially for a modern home) while also perfectly functional for your furry friend. A true master of form and function. If Jed Crystal is the designer, who then is Hepper? Hepper is the name of a rat-cat who moved in with Jed and was subsequently nicknamed Hepper (as Jed notes, “short for Hepburn, as in Audrey, as in elegant, beautiful and oh-so stylish”). Hepper is now the official product tester for all Hepper pieces. (via Design Public)

It's like a cozy flying saucer for your pet! Looks great, although I admit I don't have enough disposable income to justify spending $95 on a pet bed, when a 10-dollar fleece donut makes my cats just as happy. But when I do make the big bucks, this will be on my list :)

First there was the futuristic Hepper Pod Pet Bed and now there's the simpler, but just as cool floor-level Hepper Nest Pet Bed ($95). This pet bed has a soft sherpa fleece-lined interior and offers protection from all sides. Your cat will never re-emerge from this thing ever again. I wish they made this people sized. What a fantastic design for a pet bed! Good for dogs up to 50 lbs to curl up, store their toys, and have their own little nest bed sanctuary.
