Designed for hikers, campers, climbers, boaters, skiers, fishermen, travelers, and cyclists, this compact, crush-resistant, watertight can fits perfectly in your backpack, tote, pockets, luggage, purse, glove box, or boat so it's convenient and ready when you need it. Inside you'll find over 25 items, all of which have primary and secondary uses. Go fish with the hook and line, find your way home with the compass, boil water in the can for your tea and sugar, use the first aid supplies to survive the wilderness. Even duct tape, matches, whistle, signal mirror, razor blade, fire starter cube, chewing gum, salt and a safety pin are included. And the list goes on. This is a great gift idea, and the price is righ at $9.99!

Personally, I can't stand Sardines, but don't be fooled by the can. This little can is actually a survival kit that includes 25 items: non-aspirin pain reliever, adhesive bandage, alcohol prep pad, antibiotic ointment, book of matches, compass, chewing gum, sugar, salt, energy nugget, duct tape, fire starter cube, first aid instructions, fish hook & line, note paper, pencil, razor blade, safety pin, reflective signal surface, tea bag, waterproof bag, whistle, and wire clip. Everyone could use one of these.

Sorry. This item seems eminently impractical and gimmicky to me. So I'm toting this thing around, awaiting a survival crisis, and suddenly find I need a fish hook, or a needle and thread, or an aspirin, or a bobby pin..... Then what? Break the seal, open the entire can and root around for the desired object, and then find a way to stow all the other 24 remaining items into a new package so they're at the ready when I next find need of, oh, a match, or a bandaid, or a tootsie roll... sheesh, give me a break. Any veteran camper can surely make up a custom survial kit in a much more practical fashion. And leave out the tootsie roll.

Sardine Survival Kits! Brilliant! There are a lot of different kindsemergency survival kits, and you have to find one that works for you. It's so important to be prepared and have a plan when catastrophe strikes.
