I only have the SD450 and love it but I need this one for those nighttime shots. This Canon has an ISO that goes up to 1600, great for dimly lit bars, as well as image stabllizer.

I did a lot of research to find the most perfect point and shoot that could fit in my purse. This canon powershot sd800 is wins my vote. I've had it for a couple of weeks and its just awesome. The newer models don't have the IS (image stabilization) for low light stability. A super little camera.

two words: low light. the thing about this magnificent camera is that you can change the "film speed" (or ISO) to adjust the exposure and take fantastic low-light images. built-in image stabilization helps keep those pictures looking crisp. sounds more complex than it is - just click a button that tells the camera "hey, i'm inside a bar at night" and it does the rest on its own. overall very powerful for its size and weight. i researched digital cameras for almost a month before buying and all signs pointed to the SD800 as the one to beat. i'm not disappointed.
