Strunk and White's "Elements of Style" was my trusty, although often murky, guide to grammar and good sentence construction throughout high school and college. With the help of the insightful and often comedic illustrations of Maira Kalman, the genius of the guide becomes more fully accessible and infinitely more understandable. I highly recommend it for students and professional writers alike.
