Finally, you can have a Genuine Lifesize Lost In Space B-9 Robot of your very own! Not only is it a near perfect 6 1/2-foot, animatronic, remote-controlled, working replica, it also has the same flashing lights, animated ear sensors, clawed arms, soil sampler, rotating torso and head and it even speaks through a 240-watt audio system with 511 pre-recorded phrases performed by the original voice of the robot, Dick Tufeld. Thankfully, it does not come with original actor Bob May still inside. Best of all, it even has the robot's removeable power pack on the side, which can be pulled and he shuts down with an "Aaghhhhhh...", just like on the show! (via The Green Head)

It's amazing, just when I thought I had enough junk, someone comes and taunts me with yet another pice of consumer candy. I'm still a fan of Robot and the stunted second wave TV show "Lost in Space", I'd love to have this lifesize robot toy for all my insane art projects... I wonder if it plays 8 track tapes, or MP3's? I wonder if it moves?--I wonder if it talks!!!?
"Danger danger! Danger Will Robinson!"
Actually it does move, and it talks, check out the product description:
This is the 6 1/2-foot, animatronic remote-controlled version of the B-9™ Environmental Control Robot from the classic Lost In Space® television series that ran from 1965 to 1968. Every detail of the original robot is faithfully reproduced from original archival molds, patterns and blueprints. It is made from fiberglass, acrylic, aluminum, and steel parts, including its rotating torso and radar head, flashing lights, animated ear sensors, and clawed arms. It can be operated using the included remote control, allowing you to move its torso left and right and activate the robots soil sampler (which comes out of its right tread housing and spins; the robot provides an audible environmental analysis thereafter). The robot has a 240-w att audio system, and speaks 511 pre-recorded phrases performed by Richard Tufeld, the original voice of the robot from the television series (including such familiar phrases as "Danger Will Robinson!") Pulling the robot's power pack causes it to utter "Aaghhhhhh..." just as it did in the TV series when being shut-down; plugging it back in prompts it to say "Who turned out the lights?"
