Microsoft has done it again with this console. If you thought the first XBOX was amazing, this new system will blow you out of the water. Amazing graphics, endless options, HD compatibility, and groundbreaking games will make this system one of a kind. I recommend for all types of gamers and enthusiasts. (via Best Buy)

We use the Xbox360 mainly to stream media to our home theater system and it works flawlessly. Quick, intuitive menu, Dolby Digital for movies and games, Great picture quality. All in all, a very powerful and uesful device. When we do get a chance to play games, there is nothing greater than playing a FPS with a full surround sound system. Xbox Live is a great service, and even with monthly dues, the price is well worth the reward. Using Netflix is also so nice and easy to use. Can't wait for more HD content and Last.fm in the fall!

No college freshman should enter into a university without being fully prepared. These days, "fully prepared" means being armed with a suitable gaming device. And don't kid yourself, the Xbox 360 is the ultimate college gaming device. Do yourself a favor and buy this for your new graduate, before they end up selling plasma for a gaming fix -- college is stressful.

The Xbox 360 is a great system for hardcore gamers but you mus give the system a break. The worst thing about the xbox is if it over heats it will die with the red ring of death. But besides that it is an amazing system with very good exclusives like Halo series.

I have three in my home, both playing the best games and watching pictures and movies streamed from my Windows Home Server and/or Mediacenter

If your a gaming geek, and love Halo 3, then this is pretty much the console to go for. I own every gaming console, but I spend most of my time on the 360, for the sake of Halo 3, and other strictly Xbox 360 games.

I wouldn't call myself a gamer. I find most games to be more work than fun. But the Xbox 360 has come a long way from systems of yore and has features that impressed me. I got the 60 GB, 2 game bundle package for $299 - which can be found for $279 or so as well. It's quite a value. THe console is well designed. The newly updated (NXE) interface is a breeze to use. By far the best feature, in my opinion, is Xbox Live. This turns all those dull single player games into multi-person cooperative fun! Just about every game released for this system has an online component. It sure has gotten me to play!

There are some minor quibbles. Internet connectivity requires an Ethernet cable - there is no WiFi built in. The CD spinning in the tray is quite loud, as are the fans. And there are high failure rates (be sure to get a store replacement warranty). However this is still the best console available today for gamers and a great addition to the Nintendo Wii.
